Kobe went from this

To this:

Our beautiful Kobe, who was left tied to a trailer and never let inside with his people, or walked or played with. When the owners tried to dump him at the local pound and were refused, they took him out to the country and left him.

Left to fend for himself, he wandered, looking for warmth and food. He was continuously chased out of yards and away from people.

Kobe’s is a heart break of a story. By the time he showed up at the pound, he was terrified of people and trusted no one.

Kobe came into care in March of 2004, and over the 6 months he was with us, we watched him grow into a willing and loving companion. Finally, in August of the same year, his new people spotted him in the local paper.

When Kobe left for his new home, our hearts went with him. He is the kind of soul that stays with us and keeps us driving forward in our mission.

We love you Kobe! Enjoy the good life!
