Jessie (Miss. Milly) was
one of the 12 puppies that were left in a box at the side of the road at
a mere 4 weeks old.
How can anyone be so
cruel?
GSRBC cared for all the
pups and had them all spayed and neutered. Afterward, we split up the
litter with another society.
Casey and her sister Lucy
were transferred to another society and adopted out in the Victoria
area.
Jessie and the rest of the litter stayed
with us and we found them all great homes.
Jessie now lives on
Vancouver Island where she is very much an adored member of her family.

Update:
Hi Kelly,
Just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas. It is Jessi Girls and
I's 2nd Christmas together. She is wonderful, I love her to bits, she is
my little buddy...
I have attached some photos of her, including one of her and Santa! The
pics are of her at Todd Inlet, our walk we do every sat am!
She is doing really well, and now that we are over the sock fetish, I
think we are on the road to sanity! ha ha... besides the first sock that
she ate that had to be removed, she has successfully digested 6 socks to
date and has decorated the lawn in a multitude of colors, I swear she
has a stomach of steel! No she just puts them in her mouth and looks at
me! cheeky! though she still will eat the toes out if she gets the
chance! She is a regular at the vet just to say hi, cause they love
her, and her with them... One dog that I can say is not afraid of that
word, all the other shaking dogs trying to get out the door at the vet,
she just goes and says hi to and lays down and waits...it is pretty
funny! She has made it in to the "first dog to.." book at the
vet. She decided that the vet and I weren't paying enough attention to
her, so she jumped on to the vets counter and layed down! ha ha. gosh
that was quite funny, so the vet clipped her toe nails whilst we
finished talking... she is very gentle, loving and quite the comedian!
She LOVES agility and displays no fear at all of any of the equipment.
We are still in training just for fun and socialization, and now tricks
training! She loves taking a bow!
Well, I am sure I could fill the page with the cute things she does and
what we get up to. I have video of her at agility, I will try to
shorten it and send you some clips. She is quite the wonder dog, and
Loves the tunnel!
Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Thanks again,
for bringing me and Jessi together.
All the best in the New Year,
Kim and Jessi Girl.
