Picasso is a beautiful German shepherd mix with a great personality. He loves people and has absolutely no fear of new situations. He can be quite a goofy guy, especially when playing with the other dogs! His foster mom says, "I relate him to a gentleman (like in the movies!!- the real ones!!)"
He's a really easy guy.
He is pretty obedient, walks perfectly on leash, sits, comes, and is very polite. He would do good in a home with another dog, but would be just as happy to be solo..
He seems to be OK with cats, though he hasn't been officially introduced to one. He will make a great companion, and surely will be very loyal to his new family.
He loves to cuddle! He buries his head right in you and lays there forever! A very soft personality. He is house trained, and does have recall (when you mean it!) . He is just a big silly goof ball!

Picasso loves to play with the hose! Loves the water! He is very silly when he plays, and is very patient with dummies ( like Jack!!) that harass him. He makes good eye contact and respects his place in the pack very nicely.

Picasso was adopted June 2nd 2005

Update:

Hi Kelly; An update about Toby (Picasso). He now weighs 97.7 lbs. Up 5.5 lbs in two and a half weeks. John has been showing him off for his family and they all think he is a great dog. He is so much fun to watch with the hose. Today John was hosing off the grass after picking up "you know what" after Toby and as he went to shut the water off, Toby gripped the nozzle in his mouth and soaked John good. I would have given anything to have witnessed that!

He seems to have already bonded with us. Follows us everywhere and just wants to be with us, He loves his little plush dog that squeaks. He also loves our bed. This morning when John went out to the kitchen, he jumped up in the bed and  and snuggled up to me real close, as if to say: "This is heaven, this is where I am going to sleep from now on!"  Actually, he did sleep in the family room, we think. We have given Picasso a new name. We named him Toby, and he already responds to that when we call him.

Regards,  Eva
