Tommy was left at the vet’s office to be euthanized when his owner was leaving the country.

Thank goodness this veterinarian could see how much Tommy still had to offer. They called us and asked for help.

We went and got Tommy, and fell completely in love with him! What a lot of character this guy has got!

Lucky for Tommy, one of our members fell madly in love with him and this lucky boy went from almost losing his life to living the high life and being adored every single day. They love him just for who he is.

Everyday, we hear about what an amazing dog he is.

Tommy and dogs like Tommy just need the chance at life. That is all they ask for, just the chance… and they repay you every day of their lives.

Love comes when you least expect it. Tommy is proof of that. Congratulations to all in finding each other.

Tommy, now Charlie is holding his own and while his condition continues to advance it is slow and we continue with his vitamin supplements as well as he has had the cartophen (sp?) shots and requires occasional metacam if he has gone too wild on one of our walks. The steady and consistent exercise coupled with the B's seem to help a lot, that and keeping up with Bodo.
They are such  different boys and yet so very bonded and in sync with each other - each with a different job to do (Bodo's of course being the keeper of all things round and Charlie's the stealer of all things round). Bet you are sorry that you asked now and didn't know that you were going to get a novel!
