Zoe was one of the 12 puppies that were left in a box at the side of the road at a mere 4 weeks old.

How can anyone be so cruel?

GSRBC cared for all the pups and had them all spayed and neutered. Afterward, we split up the litter with another society.

Casey and her sister Lucy were transferred to another society and adopted out in the Victoria area.

Zoe and the rest of the litter stayed with us and we found them all great homes.

Zoe now lives with a doggy sibling names "Hershey", who is also a rescue.

She is very much loved by her Mom and Dad and we often hear all about her crazy antics.

Zoe had many people wanting to adopt her and bring her home. We believe she got the best match possible!

Zoe was adopted on November 11th 2005

A special thank you to all Zoe's sponsors:

Update:

Zoe is doing awesome!  She was very good in the car, no concerns at all. I did go sit in the back as Hershey was trying to get into the front to visit with her!-a little bit too crowded with all of us in the front.  Anyway, she ended up just lying beside me and snoozing. No throw ups! yah.

She is giving Hershey a run for his money. They are playing well, though we are monitoring it as not to get too rambunctious. She seems to know the one room we tiled is hers, as she went into that room to pee already!

Her and Hershey have been playing keep away with the toys, which ever one has the toy, the other one wants even though there is a ton of other toys! It is quite cute to watch.

Anyway, just wanted to say that she is all safe and sound and appears to be enjoying her new home already. I have attached a few pictures of her and Hershey.

Talk to you soon.
