| Emma, Sadie & Holly were found
under someone's trailer and were brought down to the local pound and turned over
to GSRBC.
They were 3 of the most stunning puppies we had ever seen, and we had people clamoring over themselves to adopt them. All girls, all with the most amazing temperaments. When they were old enough, they were transferred out to another foster home, where we knew that at least one of them would be adopted by this family. It's a hard job fostering three puppies at once, but this family was up to the task, and did an amazing job. All the girls were well socialized, well cared for, and received excellent recovery care after their spay. When the time came to look for new homes for the remaining two, the family decided they indeed would like to keep two. A hard, hard decision.... |

| Emma & Sadie's life now?
Well they have it pretty hard... They are constantly being dragged to the dyke for long walks, taken to the lakes and made to go swimming. They've completed their obedience courses, have to wear seat belts in the vehicle, life jackets in the boat and so on. We've seen pictures where they have been made to wear cutesy little bandanas, and hear all about when they are dragged out into the wilderness to deal with the hard elements of camping. We've thought of calling the SPCA to lodge a complaint on all the cruelty we've seen and heard that is happening to these two sweet, sweet girls, but sometimes, it's just easier to turn the other cheek. Seriously, we think their has definitely got their hands full. They wear it well, and we could not be happier with the home these two love bugs live in. |

Update Summer 2006 from Emma & Sadie's family: Emma & Sadie are the most beautiful and well tempered girls. They are normally so full of energy until this last heat wave hit, now we can barely get them to move of the couch! Every day we get out early and go for a long walk on the dyke, before the sun comes out. They absolutely love to go for that first dip in the water and eat all the horse poop they can get to before we chase them down! Emma & Sadie make our home perfect, it wouldn't be the same without them.
