Oscar at 5 months old, (Jan 29th) reminds me of a stout, wise gentleman. You know, like a professor with a pipe and a long beard. haha. If you've got a lap, Oscar wants to be in it. He will often sit back and watch all the activity of the other pups. Then all of a sudden... CHARGE! What a cutie.

He is very attentive and is so smart already! Oscar is a complete love, very eager to please and very outgoing. He has a heart as big as a house and he needs a home of his own to give all that love to.

Stuffies beware!!!

Oscar is one of the puppies from the litter of 7 that was left at the local pound.

From what we are told, the mother is a PB GSD and the father is a GSD mix. They are all apparently from the same litter, though that is pretty hard to believe when you have them up close. It may be true, but there was definitely more than one "father" involved here.

The pups have all been altered and have been given their 1st and 2nd vaccinations. They are now ready to go to their forever homes..

If you are interested in adopting one of these pups, please email in your application and we will get in touch with you.

Oscar was adopted to a wonderful home in February. He celebrated his first birthday with Butterball in August of 2006.

Lucky for us, we get to see Oscar often. He's turning into quite the handsome fella! As sweet as he is, he sure gives him Mom & Dad a run for their money, and of course he keep Tia, his GSD older sister, on her toes as well.  Go get 'em Oscar, you are the sweetest little force to be reckoned with!

Update August 30th 2006

Thought you might like to see some pics from my 1st birthday party.  My sister and I decided to celebrate together.  We went out to Butterball's (now Bailey)  this am.  My mom, Lee, brought the birthday cake, Baileys mom, did the decorations and also put together some doggie/goodie bags.  No party is complete without goodie bags to take home eh. lol

One of the highlights of the day was the trip to the beach.  The tide was so low it was amazing.  The beach went on forever.  Bailey and I must have run for a kagillion miles.  One of our favorite things was playing hide and seek, and attack, in the weed patch on the beach.  Also, you have no idea of the WONDERFUL things there are on the beach to roll in  -- dead fish AND dead crows!!  I had so much fun rolling over and over and over in it all.
You can just imagine how sweet I smelled after that.  My sister Bailey was more ladylike and didn't feel a need to roll in any of it.  Her mom was so happy about that.  I needed not one but 2! baths to be acceptable.  Anyway it was a fun day and a great 1st birthday celebration.

Woof, woof, licks too
