Tima is a 3 year old spayed female. She is approx. 23" at the shoulder and about 60lbs. She is very much a girly girl with a beautiful flowing gait.

She is crate trained, (loves her crate and will spend hours in it).  She does well with cats and is very good with children.

Tima is doing very well in her foster home and starting to adjust. She is a good girl and responds well to praise. She does well with consistency.

Tima is good with other dogs, though she will bark at first around strange dogs if they are loose and she is on leash.  After the initial meeting, she will happily play chase with them.  She has no problem crowding in with other dogs to get her share of treats which she takes very gently, waiting patiently for her turn and is not pushy.  Tima is not a digger nor a chewer.  She doesn't bark in the house even when there is someone at the door.

In the house Tima is fine with being touched and stroked, but off leash she is nervous of being touched and will back out of reach. She is starting to show improvement, but is taking her time in this area.

Off leash she stays fairly close and doesn't wander off on her own.  She has no interest in balls but loves to chase small pieces of wood and bring them back to within about 5 feet for you to throw again. She does a very graceful happy dance while bringing them back.

She is a very very gentle dog, no grabbing for food or treats and will give up a treat if asked to. She is still very shy at times, and startles easy by sudden movements. Tima is a very gentle dog that is starting to come out of her shell with some guidance.

Tima was adopted on May 24th 2006, and now resides in the same home with Ben!

Update:

Miss Tima is now running around with her ears perked up laughing and dancing like there's no tomorrow ... or simply smiling and grinning. She and Ben had brekkie together ... butt to butt and occasionally checking out each others bowls. They spend a lot of time cheek to cheek (well, not quite, but kissing each other a lot ... blush). I think they are a pair made in heaven (and they do too). Tima got nervous when we got in the car today to go for a ride, but looked relieved when we came back home. She's made huge strides in less than a day. Ben no longer has time to lounge under the guest bed and he is far too busy to notice Miss Kitty as he blitzes by her to find Tima. Life is good :)))))
