Zeke is a super friendly and energetic young dog. Roughly about 18 months old.

He meets the world head on and doesn’t want to miss a thing. He would fit in wonderfully with a family that has an active lifestyle.

Zeke is currently learning to have better manners and will need an owner who has the patience to help him learn. Zeke would do well in obedience as he is eager to please and very intelligent.

Zeke gets along with some dogs, but tends to overwhelm most dogs when he meets them at 200 miles an hour. We are working on teaching Zeke what is appropriate in the doggie world and he seems to be getting the hang of it.

He is just full to the brim with love to give and has made friends with everyone he meets! He is very affectionate and loves to have his tummy rubbed so much he just throws himself at your feet!

Zeke's previous life was spent largely on his own on a chain. He tried very hard to let his people know that he was lonely, but his cries went unheard.

He needs a lot better than that this time around!

His fondest wish is to be a house dog around his people as much as possible.

He has a lot of love to give and needs people that will give it all right back to him.
Zeke would do best with someone who will exhibit calm, assertive leadership and will give him the structure he needs. He would make a wonderful family dog but because he has energy to burn, his new family would have to meet this challenge.

Zeke is in need of a foster home. He truly needs to get out of the boarding facility and into a home where we can help him learn some house manners and get a better idea on what he is all about.

Zeke was Adopted May 10th 2006

October update:

We have been enjoying our son Zeke, he is doing very well! During the summer we took him to Bunsen lake dog park (boy can he swim!) that is Zeke's favorite place to go.

We  love  him very much he his such a character and very smart! He likes to hide his toys in the yard and play keep away, we are trying to teach him fetch I think he knows I think he likes keep away better. Zeke had a problem with barking at buses when they went by on his walks, so Mark took him up to Edmonds station bus loop where he was getting him used them and to see that
a bus is not scary. a bus driver on a break noticed the two of them and asked Mark what he was doing, Mark told him and the bus driver let Mark take Zeke on an empty bus to sniff out the situation. Anyways that was really cool and Zeke no longer barks at buses. His favorite chair in the house is his the easy boy chair if you pretend to sit in it Zeke races up and plants himself in the chair and looks at you like (hey my chair buzz off). He wins every time! My mother came one day to visit and Zeke raced in behind her before she could sit down and laid across his chair. My mom looked at him and said" Hey you move I want to sit. Zeke just barked once at her and stretched out further and gave her a look like lady buzz off. Mom went to another chair to sit down lol (Zeke wins)

He misses his friend Angel our 21 year old cat. she passed away 5 days ago and they were best buds. Our other cat Patches loves to tease him by walking by him then waiting for him to chase her then she jumps up on the freezer where he cant reach her, then she meows at him like she is laughing, which then makes him bark (lol). I think she is trying to cheer him up!

He is so good with other dogs and people we get comments on him all the time. We are so happy with him.

We hope to send you some pictures we have taken soon. I just need to get Mark to down load them on to the computer.

Mark ,Zeke, Patches and I hope you are doing well and we send our best to you and your family.
