Lucky for Arko, we had an excellent application on file that has already been home checked and was just waiting for that perfect match to come along. We emailed them right away, and they headed down from Kamloops to come and meet this wonderful boy! We knew it was a done deal the moment they met him, just by the look on their faces. :) Arko went home with them that very same day. Since then, we have had Arko neutered and chipped. While we waited for all that to be done, the family got a chance to really get to know Arko, and we are happy to say that the paperwork came today, (Oct 31st 2007)and this boy is officially adopted! Way to go Arko! You have no idea how good you have it! Special thanks to Nina & Bruce for dropping everything and coming so quickly to rescue this boy from the pound. Beautiful Arko was surrendered to the pound
when his owner had to move very suddenly.
Arko is a very vibrant, bouncy and energetic dog who longs for attention and companionship. He radiates a nobility, even in his goofy young pup ways. He is quite stunning and has the heart to match! How could anyone ever let such a treasure go? Unfortunately, even after all these years, we still don't have the answer to that question. Sometimes things just work out for the better anyway, and they sure did for Arko!
