I will probably get into a lot of mischief while I grow; the usual puppy things such as chewing, digging and barking .... and just generally being an adorable nuisance until I learn "the ropes". It
is important that my mind and body are both stimulated as I grow.
I think I should go to puppy school and then later even some more
obedience classes so I can show off all the new things that I will
learn. I
have lots of energy. as puppies do, and I don't want to be left alone
all day. So I am looking
for a family where at least one person is home full time.
I need a home that will take me to lots of new places and help me
to learn to get along with people of all sizes and other animals too.
Going to different places and experiencing lots of different
situations will help me build confidence. If you are willing to spend lots of time with me I know that I will be the perfect companion for a long time.
August 14th 2007 I've now been given my first set of puppy shots and have been neutered, so thankfully, no babies for me either! I am healing up well and am all ready go go to my new home. The GSRBC people are still accepting applications, so please get yours in if you are interested in being my people!

Hi! My name is Denny! I
was born June 5th 2007 at 11:31am, weighing 1.4lbs. I was the 7th one born,
and took my sweet time coming into this world.
I'm the guy that everyone wants. I really don't have to do anything at all except look good. And I sure am good at that! I'm much more independent than my other siblings, though I do like my share of cuddles too. I also like to lie in laps while being petted. (Course trying to find a spare lap around here can be a task in itself!) I
like to run and go on walks. My personality is very sweet, too. I just
love people! I've been learning a lot of new things at my foster home,
like how to wear a collar, how to walk on a leash, how to meet people
appropriately, and have been introduced to a lot of other dogs and
children too!
I know I am a 'retriever' but I don't have much of a retrieving drive in me. I may get the ball a time or two for you, but I'm not much for long hours of ball. I prefer to chew on your toes, and pull your hair and then bat my baby blues at you so that you can't possibly be mad at me! I am already learning how that can work in my favor! I hear they have a tough process to get through, here at GSRBC. My foster mom says because I am so good, I deserve a really good family to love me and take care of me. I think she may be right about that! I know my new family will think so too. In the next week or so, I will be neutered and will be ready to go to my new home! I'm still looking for my special people, so please get your application in, if you are interested in adopting me! I'll post here and let you all know when they've found me!
Denny was adopted September 16th 2007!!
