I will probably get into a lot of mischief while I grow; the usual puppy things such as chewing, digging and barking .... and just generally being an adorable nuisance until I learn "the ropes". It
is important that my mind and body are both stimulated as I grow.
I think I should go to puppy school and then later even some more
obedience classes so I can show off all the new things that I will
learn. I
have lots of energy. as puppies do, and I don't want to be left alone
all day. So I am looking
for a family where at least one person is home full time.
I need a home that will take me to lots of new places and help me
to learn to get along with people of all sizes and other animals too.
Going to different places and experiencing lots of different
situations will help me build confidence. I don't want to spend my days alone in a crate, or by myself in your kitchen while you are gone... I'm a real social butterfly and would love a active family to belong to. I'm having a great time here, and I really love my foster family, but am also looking forward to moving out soon with my new family and starting out into my future!
August 17th 2007 Great news everyone!! My family did come and find me! They spend time with all of us, and then they chose me! Can you believe it? I am the luckiest boy, and I know I am going to be so loved. You can find me down on the beaches of Vancouver, as my family loves to take me there. We already have a weekend camping trip planned! I'll let you know how I make out, and how I am doing from time to time. Woo hoo! Look out world. Here I come! ~Fisher (aka Jade)

Hi I'm Jade!
I
was born June 5th 2007 at exactly 9am, weighing 1.3lbs. I was the 4th one born.
And that pretty much sums up the way I am. I am neither the last one out,
nor the first one to investigate.
Mind you, it is hard to be the first a anything with the Queen of the Universe around *eyeroll*. Denny and Ellie-Mae may think they are the cutest ones of all of us, but I think I give them a good run for their money. I am much more stout, stocky, debonair and well...... I am downright handsome too. My foster mom tells me that I look like a little bear cub and a I am perfect for cuddling with. Ooooooh I so love to cuddle! I may look shy, but I never hesitate when it comes to making new friends. I will run up and give you sweet puppy kisses until you are putty in my paws :) I’m developing a love for playing fetch and adore getting love from people. I am truly enjoying my puppyhood and love all people and all creatures around me.
Because I’m still a baby, I need a home that has lots of time and energy to devote to raising me. But what I give you in return will be more than worth your efforts! Look into my beautiful puppy-dog eyes: how can you resist me? Of course you can't. Don't be silly. I hear they have a tough process to get through, here at GSRBC. My foster mom says because I am so good, I deserve a really good family to love me and take care of me. I think she may be right about that! I know my new family will think so too. In the next week or so, I will be Neutered and will be ready to go to my new home! I'm still looking for my special people, so please get your application in, if you are interested in adopting me! I'll post here and let you all know when they've found me! August 14th 2007 Well, it's final. I had my operation today, and I can't ever make babies. I think this is pretty great news, cause there are far too many puppies just like me that are looking for homes in this world. We are all recovering well, and are now ready to go to our new homes!
