Oscar is still having so much fun being a pup! He is very good with people of all ages and soaks up any love that you want to give him.

He is house-trained and has been through basic obedience. He knows all of the commands and does them well. He gets along wonderfully with all other dogs, but will give chase to cats.

We'd love to see Oscar get a home with another dog around to play with, as he does enjoy being able to run, play and wrestle with them.

He does very well with the 5 and 6 year old in his foster home.

Oscar is up to date on shots and has no known or suspected health problems.

He loves going for walks, riding in the car, and playing at the beach.

Oscar will make a very good companion for some lucky family.

Oscar was one of the puppies from the litter of 7 that was left at the local pound.

From what we are told, the mother is a PB GSD and the father is a GSD mix.

Oscar was a mere 7 weeks old when he first came into our care with his siblings.  He stayed with us until he was 5 months old, and then was adopted into a wonderful family.

Unfortunately for Oscar, one day at the park and a unbending animal control officer, has resulted in him losing his home.

Oscar, at 15 months old, is now back in the care of GSRBC and is looking for a new home with someone that will stand behind him for life.

Oscar, having fun with friends:

July Update:

Oscar's foster writes:

As you can see, Oscar is settling into his summer vacation very well.

I am so impressed with his obedience training!  We practice for about 5 minutes daily and he demonstrates his sit, down, recall and stay very well.  In spite of his age he is very polite, calm and adapts well to our varying schedule.  Oscar loves to play with Zeeva who is 17 months old and plays well with all kinds of dogs.  He loves to cuddle and is very eager to please!

August update:

Oscar readily fits into our ever changing routine.  He is easy going and willing to do everything with his foster family.  Oscar is crate trained and rides contently in the car.  He patiently stands while being brushed or bathed.  He continues to respond well to obedience practice and we are working on "long sits and downs".

Although Oscar enjoys playing with his house mate, Zeeva, he really wants to be with "his people".  He follows his foster mom around and is so eager to please.

Oscar needs his very own family!  He will be a terrific addition to any family who is looking for a loving companion.

Adopted!
