Levi's foster reports that he is already picking up basic obedience and is impressed on how well he is doing his leash work. He loves his chew toys and will stay occupied with those for hours. He is not destructive, though is still a puppy and will chew up items if left unattended. Levi has energy to spare, and loves to play with the other dog in his foster home. In fact, he is the first dog that has been able to tire her out! However, he seems to know when it is quiet time, and he settles down easily in the house. Outside, however, he is a going concern! At night, he sleeps on his dog bed and is content to stay there all night and sleep through right until morning. Levi is the perfect mix of brains, beauty and bounce!

Levi is about 10 months
old. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, house
trained, and super duper cute!! His enthusiasm for life is part of his
charm.
He is a shepherd mix with border collie, and is smart, smart smart!
May 8th 2008 Levi is doing well. He is currently going through doggy boot camp to learn basic obedience and lots of manners. He is learning to meet people respectively, as well as other dogs, calmly and nicely, without jumping on their heads to say hello. When Levi is done his training, he will be well versed in basic obedience and into advanced. He is very high energy, and is a fun, loving and happy dog who will thrive with a family that is interested in further obedience work, agility, or flyball. Levi would very much enjoy getting into herding and any other activity that allows him to use his body and his mind. If you are looking for a dog with energy to do something with, Levi is your boy! He runs fast, plays a long time and has an enthusiastic love of life. He is definitely the type of dog that needs another dog to occupy his need for play. *** Given Levi's exuberance and strength, a home without children is preferred unless they are really big kids. A fenced-in yard is a necessity for this guy who loves to run like a colt and play with his toys in addition to long walks on the leash.
