GSRBC was incorporated October 29th 2004 and is now a registered not-for-profit Charity organization in Canada. We depend on our wonderful extended family of volunteers, adopters, and supporters. Without them, we could never continue. It is thanks to people like you that we are successful.
We do not have a shelter but run an outreach program through
fostering. Our dream is to grow our
work to include low cost spay/neuter programs for all dogs as well as provide
extensive medical treatment to those dogs less fortunate, that go their whole
lives without the funding available to receive the treatment they need.
We must continue to educate people on the serious problems of pet
overpopulation. We envision our
work to continue along side many no kill shelters and animal rescues to ensure
the safety and care of the animal in need.
Together we can make a difference in the plight of the homeless pet.
Would you consider helping us? Many
of you have already been by our side in this journey. But have you
considered leaving a legacy for our rescue dogs?
Your presence and love for these dogs will continue on, even after you are gone.
Many people list their charitable causes in their wills.
This can be achieved simply by naming the German Shepherd Rescue of
B.C. as a beneficiary in your will.
1.
Prepare a will. Without a will you lose control over where your
property goes at death.
2.
In
your will you can leave a specific dollar amount or a portion there of.
3.
You
may also list the German Shepherd Rescue of B.C. as a beneficiary to your RRSP,
RRIF or Life Insurance policy.
4.
To
be sure and for more information, consult with your legal and tax/financial
advisors when considering your plans.
Thank-you.
